Our Nepean dental clinic’s location is just off the corner of 59th and 36th street, south of Highway 417, west of Highway 416. You’ll find us centered just between Hazeldean Mall and Queensway Carleton Hospital in the Robertson Centre (Freshco plaza).
About Nepean
Nepean, Ontario is a large Ottawa district made up of residential neighborhoods. It is bordered by the Ottawa River and waterfront greenspaces. Andrew Haydon Park, which has a bandshell and peaceful trails, and Dick Bell Park, which overlooks a marina, are two examples.
Prior to amalgamation with the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton in 2001, Nepean was once an independent city. It is still commonly referred to as Nepean to the many 170,544 Nepeanites who call the area west of Ottawa’s inner core home.
Several communities and neighborhoods that are within the pre-amalgamation city’s boundaries include Barrhaven, Bayshore, Bells Corners, Centrepointe, Craig Henry, Qualicum – Redwood Park, and Stonebridge, to name a few.
Nepean is home to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) and the Ottawa-Carleton Catholic School Board (OCCSB) who administer the anglophone schools in the area. There are 16 public elementary schools, a middle school, and seven high schools for families with children or who are planning to have children. As part of the OCCSB, there are 13 Catholic elementary schools, a middle school, and five secondary schools.
In addition, Nepean is home to Crystal Bay Centre for Special Education, Elizabeth Wyn Wood Secondary Alternate Program, St. Patrick’s Adult School, and Algonquin College’s main campus is located within Nepean.
